Bacon Asparagus Brie Bites

Ingredients

8 slices of Henderson’s bacon
12 spears of asparagus, woody ends removed and chopped in half
1 lemon
200g brie cheese
750g store-bought puff pastry sheets

Cooking spray

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In a large pan, cook the bacon until golden brown. Set aside and in the same pan add the asparagus. Cook until tender.


Step 2

Cut the brie into small pieces approximately 1cm x 1cm. Step 3
On a floured surface, cut the pastry sheets into 24 squares.


Step 3

Grease a 24-cup mini muffin tray with cooking spray. Place a pastry square into each muffin cup. Fill with bacon, brie and asparagus.


Step 4

Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
